Pay only for what you pour
The truck meters every cubic metre. No full-load minimum and no charge for concrete you did not use.
Concrete mixed fresh on your site, metered to the exact volume you pour.
Trusted by contractors, councils & developers
Volumetric concrete is the smart way to buy concrete. Our mobile mixer arrives carrying sand, aggregate, cement and water separately, then batches and mixes your concrete on site at the point of pour. You get exactly the grade you specified and the exact volume you used — nothing pre-mixed, nothing wasted.
The truck meters every cubic metre. No full-load minimum and no charge for concrete you did not use.
Under-ordered? We simply mix more on the spot — no penalty, no second call-out.
Mixed at your pour, so there is no 90-minute clock and no risk of concrete going off in transit.
Switch grades and mixes on the same visit — a footing mix and a floor mix from a single delivery.
Footings dug to a depth nobody can call to the barrow-load. Order low, and if the trench takes more we mix more on the spot rather than sending a second wagon.
A ground-bearing slab and a structural element on the same day. The truck changes mix design between batches instead of you booking two deliveries.
Across the Yorkshire and North West towns we cover, drum-wagon journey time eats the discharge window before the wagon arrives. Volumetric removes the journey from the equation.
Volumetric concrete is charged on the volume you actually pour, not the volume you booked.
Our published UK cost guide puts standard C20 at roughly £90–£120 per m³ and C40 at £130+ per m³ as at 2025. Grades, additives, access and timing all move the figure, so call for a current price on your specific pour.
We run volumetric concrete out of three depots. If your site is inside these postcode areas, ring us and we will tell you which depot is closest and roughly how long it takes to reach you.
The things customers ask us most about volumetric concrete.
Our 2025 cost guide puts standard C20 at roughly £90–£120 per m³, rising to £130+ per m³ for C40. Volumetric changes what you are billed for rather than the headline rate: because the truck meters the volume discharged, you pay for what you pour instead of a full load. On a job where you would otherwise over-order by a metre, that difference is usually larger than the rate difference. Call 0800 001 6147 for a current price on your grade and location.
Yes. It is batched to the same BS EN 206 and BS 8500 grades a drum wagon would deliver, from the same constituent materials. The difference is where mixing happens, not what is in the mix. Volumetric batching meters materials to within 1–2%, and because the concrete is mixed at the point of pour there is no strength loss from a mix that has been turning in a drum for an hour.
We mix more there and then. The truck carries sand, aggregate, cement and water separately, so running short means batching another half metre rather than ordering a second delivery. There is no part-load charge and no return call-out fee for topping up a pour in progress.
Yes. Because nothing is pre-mixed, the operator can change the mix design between batches on the same visit — a C20 for a footing and a C35 for a structural element from one load. With ready-mix that is two separate deliveries.
Yes, from depots at Pontefract, Leeds and Warrington, covering more than 80 towns across both regions, 24 hours a day. Journey distance matters far less than it does for ready-mix, because there is no discharge clock running while the truck travels.
Same-day where we can, fresh every pour, across Yorkshire and the North West.
