This policy explains how Procon 24/7 ("we", "us") collects and uses personal data when you use this website or request a quote. We are the data controller for the information you provide.
What we collect
When you submit the quote or contact form we collect the details you give us: typically your name, company, email address, phone number, delivery postcode and information about your project. When you browse the site we also collect standard analytics data (see our Cookie Policy).
How we use it
We use your details only to respond to your enquiry, prepare and discuss a quote, arrange delivery, and keep a record of the work. We do not sell your data. We do not send marketing unless you have asked us to.
Who we share it with
We share data only with service providers who help us operate (for example our email and hosting providers) and only as needed to deliver the service. We may disclose information where the law requires it.
When a quote request you send through this website is received successfully, and your browser has loaded Google's advertising tag, the email address and phone number you entered (whichever of them is in a valid format) are standardised and converted in your browser into a coded form (a SHA-256 hash) before being sent to Google Ads. Google compares these codes with the details it already holds for its own account holders so it can tell us which of our adverts led to enquiries and orders. We use this to measure and improve our advertising. Hashing is not the same as anonymisation, so we treat this as sharing your personal data with Google, who processes it under its own terms for advertising measurement.
When you visit our website after clicking one of our Google adverts, Google may replace the telephone numbers shown, including our freephone number, with a Google forwarding number. If you call it, Google routes your call to our usual number and reports information about the call, such as the time, whether it connected, how long it lasted and your area code, so we can measure the performance of our adverts. Google processes this information under its own terms. We may also tell Google Ads which of those calls led to an order, using the time of the call and your phone number, so we can see which adverts led to orders and, if we choose, let Google use that to decide where our adverts are shown.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and customer records for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, then delete them.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. To make a request, contact us using the details below. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
