Structural grades
C30 to C40 and specialist mixes for foundations, slabs and paving.
Volumetric concrete for commercial sites — only pay for what you use.
Trusted by contractors, councils & developers
From structural slabs and foundations to large-scale paving, we supply commercial projects across Yorkshire and the North West with volumetric concrete. Confirmed slots, BS EN 206 conformity, and billing on the exact volume poured — no full-load minimums on a busy programme.
C30 to C40 and specialist mixes for foundations, slabs and paving.
Billed on actual volume — accurate cost control across a programme.
Booked windows so your gang and pump are never left waiting.
Ultra Rapid Set for time-critical and out-of-hours commercial work.
Across a run of foundations the dig rarely matches the drawing. Metered supply means variation is billed accurately instead of absorbed as over-order on every pour.
Rail possessions, motorway closures and airside slots have a hard finish time. URS two-hour set exists for exactly this, and we run 24/7.
A blinding mix, a slab mix and a structural mix on the same day, from the same truck, without three separate deliveries.
Commercial concrete is a programme cost, not a per-load cost.
Send the schedule of pours, grades and dates and we will price the programme rather than a single load. Call 0800 001 6147.
We run commercial concrete out of three depots. If your site is inside these postcode areas, ring us and we will tell you which depot is closest and roughly how long it takes to reach you.
The things customers ask us most about commercial concrete.
C30 is appropriate for standard commercial strip and pad foundations under medium loads. C35 is typically where a structural engineer requires higher characteristic strength — multi-storey frames, heavily loaded columns, or ground requiring a reinforced raft. The lower water-cement ratio at C35 produces a denser, less permeable concrete that better protects reinforcement in XC2 and XC3 exposure classes.
Yes — we operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and out-of-hours pours are routine rather than exceptional. Rail possessions, motorway closures and airside slots are a significant part of what we do. An out-of-hours premium may apply, and we confirm it at booking.
URS is ultra-rapid-set concrete with a two-hour set, used where the surface must carry load again before the window closes. It is the standard answer on possessions, road closures and airside work, where the constraint is the handback time rather than the pour itself.
Booked delivery slots so the gang and pump are not left waiting, and where reach or rate is the constraint, our own boom or line pumps paired with the mix. Because concrete is batched on site there is no cold-joint risk from a wagon stuck in traffic with a 90-minute clock running.
Yes. We supply under client frameworks — the North Yorkshire utility reinstatement scheme in our case studies ran under a Yorkshire Water framework. Tell us the framework requirements when you enquire and we will confirm what we can evidence.
